Rubber Chewing Gum
alaindustrial:chewing_gum
Summary
Rubber Chewing Gum is a stick of raw rubber and inulin, two products of the same kok-sagyz root. Gum from dandelion rubber is real, and gum against motion sickness even more so. In the mod it does one thing: it clears nausea and keeps it from coming back for three minutes — from level I radiation, from a pufferfish, from other mods.
How to use
Hold right-click with the gum in hand — it is chewed nearly three times as fast as ordinary food (0.6 s against 1.6 s).
| What | Value |
|---|---|
| Chewing time | 0.6 s |
| Hunger | none — gum is not food and fills nothing |
| On a full stomach | yes |
| Effect | "Fresh Breath" for 3 minutes (knob, 3600 ticks) |
| Stack | 64 |
The Fresh Breath effect
- Removes Nausea at once, if you have it.
- While the effect lasts, Nausea is not applied at all — not from level I radiation, not from a pufferfish, not from any mod that applies it the ordinary way.
- Another piece restarts the timer instead of adding to it.
- A bucket of milk removes this effect too, like any other.
- The other radiation symptoms (Weakness, Hunger, damage) are untouched: the gum only stops the sway.
The gum does not slow hunger: that is deliberately left for the nano armour set (food epic.
Recipe
Crafting table, shapeless: 1 raw rubber + 1 inulin → 2 gums. The macerator gives both ingredients from one pair of kok-sagyz roots.
