Soul Vessel
alaindustrial:soul_vessel
Summary
The Soul Vessel is a glass flask in a silver frame with soul sand at the bottom. While it sits in your inventory, every hostile mob killed by you personally — your hand, your sword, your arrow — yields its soul into it. Pet kills, trap kills and other players' kills do not count.
A full vessel goes into a Mob Repeller and is consumed whole,
| Jump | Souls needed |
|---|---|
| Small → medium | 80 |
| Medium → large | 250 |
The counter shows in the item tooltip. The vessel holds at most 250 souls; any surplus above the jump threshold burns with the vessel — charge it for the specific tier you need.
Collection rules
Only actively hostile mobs count: monsters, plus angered endermen and zombified piglins. Passive and calm neutral mobs yield no souls. The killing blow must come from the player: a tamed wolf, a lava trap or someone else's arrow will not register the soul. With several vessels in the inventory, the first non-full one in slot order fills up. Vessels with different soul counts do not stack — each keeps its own memory.
