Summary

A Restoration Plan is how a Construction Drone knows what a building should become. The first plan is the town hall plan: it is put together at the Town Dispatcher from three Town Hall Plan Sheets of one style and stays in the dispatcher's plan slot — that is the settlement's active plan.

Quick example: put the three sheets of the plains town hall plan into the dispatcher's three sheet slots and press "Assemble plan". A "Restoration Plan" appears in the plan slot — do not take it out: while it is there, the drones rebuild the town hall.

How it works

  1. Assembly. The "Assemble plan" button at the dispatcher takes one sheet each of 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 and puts the finished plan into the plan slot. A finished plan can also simply be placed into the plan slot.
  2. Style. A plan belongs to a style (plains or desert): a plan of a plains town hall does not build a desert one. If the plan in the slot is for another town hall, the dispatcher marks it with a cross: "This plan is for another town hall".
  3. The plan stays in the dispatcher. Take the plan out (or break the dispatcher) and the drones stop, and the work on the core's "Construction" tab stands with the reason "No restoration plan". Put the plan back and the work carries on by itself.
  4. For its own people only. In a woken settlement only the settlement's restorer can assemble a plan and put it into the dispatcher.
  5. Tooltip. Under the name — the building ("Building: town hall"), the style and the lines "The drone builds by it / from the dispatcher". An empty plan (with no building) cannot be given to a drone: its tooltip reminds you to put it together from 3 sheets.
  6. Nothing inside. A plan remembers only which building to build, not the blocks themselves, so nothing can be copied through it.
