Town Hall Plan Sheet

Summary
A Town Hall Plan Sheet (k/3) is a scrap of the plan a construction drone uses to restore the town hall of an ALA work town. There are three sheets, and every town holds all three sheets of its own style (plains or
| Sheet | Where it lies |
|---|---|
| 1/3 | in the town hall chest |
| 2/3 | in a barrel in one of the town's houses |
| 3/3 | in a barrel of the lab under the town hall |
Three sheets of one style are put together into a Restoration Plan at the Town Dispatcher. That is why the ruins are worth exploring in full: the town hall, the houses and the lab.
Quick example: you have woken the core of a plains town. Open the town hall chest — sheet 1/3 is there. Walk round the houses and find the barrel with sheet 2/3, then go down into the lab for sheet 3/3. Put all three into the dispatcher and press "Assemble plan".
How it works
- Style and number. Every sheet has a town style and a number. The tooltip under its name shows the style ("Style: Plains"), where to look for the sheet ("Found in: a house barrel") and that three sheets of one style make a plan at the dispatcher. Holding [SHIFT] adds a line saying the sheet can be crafted.
- Stacking. Identical sheets (the same style and number) stack up to 16, wherever they came from.
- Assembling the plan. You need sheets 1, 2 and 3, each exactly once, all of one style — and that style must match the style of the settlement whose dispatcher they go into: a plan of a plains town hall does not build a desert one. Sheets from different towns of the same style are fine. If something is wrong, the dispatcher says why: a sheet is missing, the same sheet is in twice, the sheets come from towns of different styles, or the style is the wrong one.
- Which sheets have been found. When a settlement's core wakes up for the first time, a line is written to the town hall's journal: the town hall can be restored, find the three sheets of its plan. The "Town hall plan sheets" section on the "Construction" tab of the Settlement Core lists all three sheets and where to look: a found sheet glows green, a missing one red. A sheet counts as found once it has been put into the settlement's dispatcher — the core does not look into other chests.
- A sheet with no style (a "blank sheet") makes no plan.

Recipes
A sheet is found in a town, but a lost or never-found sheet can be crafted at a crafting table. The recipe is expensive and takes the whole 3×3 grid; each sheet has its own pair of ingredients, and the style by the block in the centre: a Grass Block gives a plains sheet, yellow Sandstone (plain, Chiseled, Cut or Smooth; sand does not work) gives a desert sheet.
P L P P — Paper, L — Lapis Lazuli
X S X S — style block: Grass Block (plains) or Sandstone (desert)
L Y L X, Y — the sheet's own pair (table below)
| Sheet | X (either side of the centre, ×2) | Y (bottom, ×1) |
|---|---|---|
| 1/3 (town hall) | Iron Ingot | Bricks (block) |
| 2/3 (house) | any wooden door | any bed |
| 3/3 (lab) | Redstone Dust | Electronic Circuit |
The recipe book unlocks these recipes once you have a plan sheet or a dispatcher.
Progression
- Found in every ALA work town; has no tier of its own.
- Three sheets of one style → Restoration Plan → the construction drone rebuilds the town hall.
