Summary

The Electronic Circuit is the mod's base crafting component — the "brain" of nearly every early (LV) machine and storage block. It's an item, not a block: you only see it as an ingredient in machine recipes.

It's what makes the progression feel real — before you can assemble a machine, you first have to assemble its brain. It's built at a workbench from the mod's metals (silver and nickel) plus quartz and an emerald, so it pushes you to mine and smelt the mod's ores. The circuit itself stores no energy.

Mini-example: smelt some silver and nickel, grab a piece of quartz and an emerald, and assemble a circuit at your workbench. That one circuit is the part every LV machine asks for — make a few and you're ready to craft your Macerator.

Energy

Uses no energy — it's a plain crafting ingredient.

How it's used

A pure intermediate, and the early-game bottleneck: almost every LV machine and generator asks for at least one. It crafts into the Generator, the Macerator, the Solar Panel, the Pump and the rest of the early machine line and electric items. The Battery Box does not take a circuit — it crafts without one. It later evolves into the Advanced Circuit (for MV and above).

Assembled at a workbench (shaped 3×3): silver ingots in the four corners, nickel ingots top and bottom centre, quartz on the left and right sides, and an emerald as the conducting core in the centre.

Progression

A component with no tier of its own. The early crafting bottleneck — every LV machine needs at least one, which forces you to mine and smelt the mod's silver and nickel before you automate. Priced to sting a little, not to block the first machine.

Macerator — the first machine that requires a circuit. Silver and Nickel — the ores you mine for it. Material Forms — the wider ore → dust → ingot chain.
