Summary
The Galvanic Bath is an LV electroplating machine: fibre and silver dust are submerged in water, a current is passed through them, and the silver plates onto the fibre as a conductive track. The result is flux thread, the half-product of the Fluxweave material. It is the first machine in the mod to consume items and a fluid at once, and it is the entry point to the EU/FE armour line. Fibre means vanilla string or cotton fibre — one recipe accepts both through the # tag. Choosing between a spider farm and a cotton trellis is a matter of playstyle, not progression.

Throughput: accepts up to 32 EU/FE/tick on every face except the front, which is energy-inert and draws no cable arm. Anything above the limit is simply not transferred; nothing breaks.

The water is not part of the recipe JSON. No recipe family in the mod takes items and a fluid at the same time, so the water volume is a fixed config cost the machine checks and debits itself. A datapack can override the fibre, the silver and the energy cost, but not the water volume. The tank is one-way: water can be poured in but never pulled out. What enters is feedstock, not storage, so a neighbouring pump cannot siphon it back.

Automation may feed both input slots and the fill slot, and may pull from the result slot and the emptied-container slot.
Interface
Type: container Shows: the water level in the tank (with fluid name and millibuckets on hover), the energy buffer and the progress arrow. The reason it is idle appears as a tooltip on the arrow: needs fibre, needs silver dust, needs water, no matching recipe, output blocked. Water gets its own line because it is not part of the recipe — without it, an empty tank would read to the player as "no matching recipe".

Balance
1000 EU/FE per flux thread (500 ticks, 25 seconds, at 2 EU/FE/t) makes this both the most expensive and the slowest operation of the LV family, twice the polymerizer and the vulcanizer at 400 EU/FE each. That is deliberate: plating silver is the gate into the Fluxweave line and, beyond it, the mod's first full EU/FE armour, so the gate costs more than intermediate steps such as grinding ore. 4000 mB of water per operation is four buckets per thread, so a full ten-bucket tank yields only two. Water is infinitely renewable in Minecraft, so this is not a resource limit but an infrastructure requirement — deliberately a greedy one: hauling four buckets per thread gets old fast, which is what pushes the player to pipe it in from a pump.
Open Questions
Whether to add plating recipes for other metals such as copper or gold. The name would stay accurate and the line would gain breadth.
