Honey Centrifuge

Summary
The Honey Centrifuge is a real beekeeper's machine: it spins honeycombs and pulls liquid honey out of them. It also turns finished honey bottles and honey blocks back into liquid. The honey collects in an internal ten-bucket tank, and a pipe or an empty bucket takes it from there.
Mini-example: put a stack of honeycombs into the centrifuge and give it power — in about five minutes the tank holds 6.4 buckets of honey. Put an empty bucket into the slot on the right and walk away with a bucket of honey.
| Input | Honey | Also |
|---|---|---|
| Honeycomb | 100 mB | — |
| Honeycomb block | 400 mB | — |
| Honey bottle | 250 mB | the empty bottle |
| Honey block | 1000 mB | — |
Energy
The Honey Centrifuge only consumes EU/FE and keeps a small buffer for smooth running.
| What | Value |
|---|---|
| Internal buffer | 800 EU/FE |
| Max input | 32 EU/FE/t (LV) |
| Consumption | 2 EU/FE/t while working |
Energy comes in on the five working faces. The front face (the one the machine "looks" toward) is inert — cables don't connect there and hoppers don't work through it.
Fluid
The tank only gives: nothing can be poured into it, honey appears in it only from a spun input.
| What | Value |
|---|---|
| Tank size | 10,000 mB (10 buckets) |
| Holds | liquid honey |
| Accepts from outside | nothing |
| Gives out | on every face — to a pipe set to extract, a pump, a bucket |
If the tank has no room for the next portion, the machine stops before it eats the input: no honey is lost or spilled. Empty the tank and the work carries on by itself.
Processing
Every operation costs 200 EU/FE and takes 100 ticks (~5 s) — the same for a honeycomb as for a honey block.
| What | Value |
|---|---|
| Duration | 100 ticks (~5 s) |
| Cost per operation | 200 EU/FE |
| Auto-output | no — honey is taken by a pipe or a bucket |
If the empty-bottle slot is full, a honey bottle's operation pauses — progress is not lost.
Inventory
Four slots.
| Slot | Takes | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Input | honeycomb, honeycomb block, honey bottle, honey block | a stack |
| empty bottles left from honey bottles | a stack | |
| Bucket (top) | an empty bucket or capsule | 1 |
| Bucket (bottom) | the filled honey bucket | 1 |
Hoppers and pipes put items into the input and the top bucket slot, and take the empty bottles and full buckets out.
Interface
On the left — the input slot, the progress arrow and the empty-bottle slot; on the right — the honey gauge (hover it to see the amount in mB), the bucket pair and the energy store. If the machine is idle, hover the arrow — the tooltip says why: no input, this holds no honey, the tank is full or the bottle slot is blocked.
Block properties
An ordinary solid block, softer than stone. Any pickaxe breaks it, but it does NOT keep its charge or its honey when broken.
| What | Value |
|---|---|
| Shape | full 16³ cube (occluder) |
| Hardness | 3.0 |
| Blast resistance | 6.0 |
| Tool | pickaxe |
| Keeps charge when broken | no |
Sound
The Honey Centrifuge has no sound of its own yet.

What it makes: see the table in the Summary. The way back — from honey to items — is the Polymerizer: 1000 mB of honey → a honey block. Four bottles give exactly the honey one block needs, so the loop "bottles → honey → block" creates no honey out of nothing.
Progression
- Tier: LV. Built once the player has an apiary and the first machines.
- Honey from the tank goes into the Polymerizer (honey block) and into the mod's tanks and pipes.
- Needs power from an LV source, for example a Generator.
