Summary
The Silver Chest is a storage block with 45 slots (5 rows of 9) — one whole row more than the Iron Chest. It uses no energy; it's just a bigger place to keep your stuff.
Mini-example: Iron Chest full of ore? Upgrade it: put the iron chest in the center of a crafting grid and surround it with 8 silver ingots → Silver Chest, +9 slots, contents preserved.
It looks like a proper 3D chest with an animated lid (same shape as vanilla, but silver-coloured) and the same metallic open/close sound as the iron chest.
Inventory
Takes any items — 45 slots in 5 rows of 9. Shift-click moves stacks between the chest and your inventory.

Recipes
Crafted at a workbench: an Iron Chest in the center, surrounded by 8 silver ingots — the same "previous tier + 8 ingots" pattern as the iron chest.
Progression
The chest line goes: vanilla copper chest (27) → Iron Chest (36) → Silver Chest (45) → Gold Chest (54). The diamond chest isn't in the mod yet.
