Summary

The Vacuum Capsule is a stackable fluid container. It solves the vanilla-bucket problem: buckets don't stack, so each one eats a whole slot, and carrying any real volume of fluid becomes awkward. The capsule comes in two forms. Empty, it is an ordinary item that stacks to 64. Filled, it holds exactly 1 bucket (1000 mB) of one fluid, and filled capsules of the same fluid stack up to 16 in a single slot — so one stack is up to 16 buckets. Different fluids never merge into one stack: a stack of water capsules and a stack of lava capsules sit apart. You fill a capsule from a fluid source in the world (like a bucket) or from a machine's tank — and empty it back with the same click.

Mini-example: building a lava power setup far from your pump? Stack 16 empty capsules, fill them all at the pump's tank in a few clicks, and carry 16 buckets of lava home in a single inventory slot — the kind of trip that would take 16 slots with plain buckets.

Contents

A filled capsule holds exactly one fluid — the same volume as a bucket. How they stack:

FieldValue
Volume per capsule1 bucket (1000 mB)
Stack size, empty64
Stack size, filled16, of one fluid only
Different fluidsnever merge — each fluid keeps its own stack

Two capsules of the same fluid are always equal and stack together, and the contents survive a drop, death, or transfer.

How it behaves

Fill from the world: right-click a fluid source with an empty capsule (water, lava, another mod's fluid). The capsule takes the source and becomes filled, just like a vanilla bucket. Fill from a tank: right-click the face of a tank block — the mod's pump or geothermal generator, or any fluid port, including other mods' machines — to pull exactly 1 bucket into the capsule. No partial fills: a whole bucket, or nothing. Empty into the world: right-click with a filled capsule to place the fluid (some exotic fluids with no block form can only go into tanks, not into the world). Water evaporates in the Nether, just like from a bucket. Empty into a tank: right-click a tank face with a filled capsule to pour its bucket in; if the tank accepts a whole bucket, the capsule comes back empty. The swap: filling or emptying swaps the empty capsule for a filled one and back. In creative the source stack is not consumed, like a vanilla bucket. Name: a filled capsule has a dynamic name — "Capsule: <fluid>" — and the tooltip reads "1000 mB (1 bucket)". Pipes and tanks: the capsule plays nicely with other mods — their pipes and tanks can fill and drain it right in a slot.

Recipes

Crafted at a workbench: a tin body and clasps, two glass-pane windows, and a copper cable with redstone at the base. The recipe shows up in your recipe book once you have all the parts, and it yields one empty capsule.

Progression

Available early: tin is a Phase 1 metal, the copper cable arrives with the energy network, and redstone and glass are vanilla. The capsule needs no tempered iron or electronic circuit, so it comes before the Battery Pouch. It pairs with the mod's fluid machines — the pump and the geothermal generator — as a portable, stackable 16-charge bucket.
