Summary

Netherite Alloy is the mod's only alloy built on vanilla netherite: one netherite ingot and two electrum ingots give two alloy ingots in the Alloy Smelter. By materials it is the most expensive recipe the smelter has, and the first one that requires a trip to the Nether.

Mini-example: put a netherite ingot in one input slot of the smelter and two electrum ingots in another. Seven and a half seconds later the output holds two netherite alloy ingots. Slot order does not matter.

The smelter returns two ingots per operation, so 600 EU/FE each — half of what electrum costs in energy. The expense of this alloy lives entirely in its inputs: a netherite ingot is four ancient debris and four gold, and it can only be had in the Nether.

There is no plate or reinforced plate, unlike the four older alloys. Adding them before a second consumer exists would be guesswork.

Recipe (alloying)

The only route is the Alloy Smelter.

Three ingots in, two out: melting costs metal, and that holds for every alloy in the mod. The inputs are read through the conventional tags c:ingots/netherite and c:ingots/electrum, so netherite and electrum from another mod are taken just like the mod's own.

All five of the smelter's alloys cost the same 1200 EU/FE over 150 ticks — that is a rule of the machine rather than a property of the recipe: a processing kind has one price for all of its recipes. What separates the alloys is their inputs and their output count, and this one is expensive by its inputs.

Progression

The alloy is the second-to-last step to the top of the electric-tool line: two ingots go into the Netherite Drill Head, which a smithing table then fits onto the Electric Drill to give its third and final tier. Nothing else spends it yet, and that is deliberate: the alloy arrives with its consumer rather than ahead of it.

The gate is double and both ends are real. Netherite is vanilla's endgame: ancient debris, four scrap and four gold ingots per ingot. Electrum is the mod's most expensive alloy, and the silver in it competes with the electronic circuit — that is, with nearly every machine. So this alloy cannot be smelted in passing: you arrive at it having already built production.
