Summary

The Fluxweave Helmet is the head of the EU/FE set made of Fluxweave cloth. While it holds charge it switches on a "water kit": a chance not to spend air underwater (the same mechanic as the Respiration enchantment — the air is not unlimited) and noticeably faster swimming.

The helmet's defense is 2, at the iron line: the set's value is its utility, not its armour numbers. The rule that matters: charge switches bonuses on, it never switches protection off. At zero EU/FE the helmet stays an ordinary helmet of its material — it does not break, vanish, or lose a single point of defense.

The helmet has a second job: it computes and pays for the set bonus — the slow regeneration. The details of the whole set are on the Fluxweave Armor page.

Energy

FieldValue
Buffer (EU/FE)15,000
Max input (EU/FE/tick)32 (LV ceiling)
Passive upkeep1 EU/FE/second while the helmet is worn and charged
Set-bonus cost200 EU/FE per half-heart of regeneration (drawn from the helmet's charge)

Charges in the Battery Box slot, from a worn Energy Pack, and from other mods' chargers through the item energy capability (insert only). A full buffer at 1 EU/FE/s lasts roughly four hours of wear.

What the helmet gives

Underwater breathing. A chance not to spend air on a tick — as strong as Respiration III.

Swim speed. +50 % water movement efficiency.

The 4/4 set bonus. Slow regeneration while health is below full. It works only when all four pieces are worn and all four are charged; the helmet pays for it. Take the helmet off and the set bonus ends.

All bonuses are attributes, not potion effects: no particles, no HUD icons, no clash with real potions. They apply only while the piece holds charge.

Appearance

Part of a single suit: a light, silvery weave with dark panel seams. The helmet closes over the head and stops at the mouth line, leaving only the mouth and chin bare. A charged suit runs at full brightness; a flat one darkens all over while keeping the same pattern.

Recipe

The helmet is crafted at a crafting table from four different components: 2 Fluxweave cloth, 1 electronic circuit, 1 battery and 2 tempered iron. Cloth on the outer top cells with the circuit between them, tempered iron and the battery along the bottom row — the grid is shown on the crafting card on this page. Two cloths are 8 flux threads from the Galvanic Bath.

The charge held by the battery carries over into the helmet: a full 2,000 EU/FE battery comes off the table already charged, so the bonuses are available straight away with no separate charging step.

Progression

Tier: LV

Requires: the Galvanic Bath, then flux thread and Fluxweave cloth, plus a circuit, a battery and tempered iron.

Next: the nano set (tier 2), where night vision and hunger slowdown were deliberately deferred.

Fluxweave Armor — the whole set and the 4/4 bonus

Fluxweave Chestplate, Fluxweave Leggings, Fluxweave Boots — the other pieces

Flux Thread and Fluxweave Cloth — the set's material

Galvanic Bath — produces flux thread

Energy Pack — charges the set right on the player

Tempered-iron armour — the ordinary set without EU/FE
